Description
Shimmer Ballet is for the beginner or growing dancer. Dancers will work through barre, center work, and floor progressions to build their ballet foundation and expand their interests, skills, and technique.

Costume fee: $130 (1 costumes and tights)
Recital fee: $175 (only 1 fee per dancer if enrolled in multiple classes)

Please schedule an appointment with us for a dancewear fitting to ensure you order the correct sizes. We recommend coming to the studio to try on our sizing samples before ordering! Dancewear will be shipped to your house after you order from our Nimbly site!

Description
Shimmer Tap is a beginner tap class. In this energetic and fun-filled class, young dancers will learn basic tap techniques, build coordination, and develop a sense of musicality through engaging exercises. No prior experience required—just bring your enthusiasm and tap shoes, and get ready to shuffle, flap, and stomp your way into the world of tap!

Description
Shimmer Jazz is a beginner jazz class. Jazz dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with current forms of popular dance and music. Our jazz classes are fun and energetic! Classes include warm up, isolations, stretches, and across the floor progressions. Classes include several styles of jazz including traditional, broadway, and jazz funk with age appropriate popular music.

Shimmer Lyrical is a beginner level lyrical class. Lyrical dance is a style that combines ballet and jazz dancing techniques. It is performed to music with lyrics so that it inspires expression of strong emotions. This style concentrates on an individual approach and expressiveness of emotions.

Description
Hip Hop combines current sounds and movements in pop, rap, and R&B music. Hip Hop classes teach movements inspired by influencers in the hip hop community. Students will learn freestyle, locking, popping, and breaking movements. Young dancers classes will focus on isolations, learning different types of movements and patterns, and large motor skills.
